Terepyshchyi Serhiy, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Professor, born in 1984 (Ichnya, Chernihiv region, Ukraine). In 2006 he graduated from the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University (qualification – teacher of geography, teacher of biology and ecology, organizer of tourist and local lore work). He graduated from postgraduate and postdoctoral studies at the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University, is a doctor of philosophical sciences and professor of social philosophy, philosophy of education and educational policy department. He is the author of more than 100 scientific publications.

Terepyschyi Serhiy heads the Council of Young Scientists of the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University. He acts as a member of the Academic Council of the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University. He is a member of the Scientific Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (Secretary of Section 20), as well as a member of the Ministerial Commission for Selection of Candidates for the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Prize for Young Scientists, nomination of scholarships of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. He is a founder of the All-Ukrainian youth public organization "Union of Gifted Youth". He is a member of the editorial board of the journal "Studia Warminskie" (Poland), "Educational Discourse" (Ukraine).

Sphere of research interests

His researches are devoted to the problems of philosophy of education: gifted youth; higher education in the context of globalization and the information revolution; standardization of education; education in conditions of war; media literacy and social responsibility of educators. In 2016, he proposed the author's concept of "educational landscape" in the Ukrainian philosophy of education.
